Non Resident Tax Increase EU and UK After Brexit

Published / Last Updated on 22/11/2019

The Conservatives suggest a 3% Stamp Duty increase for non-UK residents after Brexit.

Whilst in the EU, the UK must tax all EU nationals the same whether you live in the UK or Europe.

After Brexit, the UK does not have to tax non-UK residents the same as UK residents.

Expect the same if you do not live in the EU but you have assets, wealth, property or plan to buy assets in the EU.
