What Happens When You Have 2nd Job

When you have a second job, your tax code and therefore your personal allowance will either be allocated entirely to the higher paid job, with no tax allowance for the 2nd job or it will be split proportionately between the two jobs. HMRC will decide how this happens and you should contact them when you start a second job.
