PLATINUM SERVICE - Tailored Ongoing QUARTERLY Financial Advice Reviews

After any initial advice/review has been completed, an ongoing advice service may be suitable.  Platinum is ideal for those who require a tailored approach to their independent financial advice with quarterly reviews.

What is included in the Platinum Review Service?

  • Records - We maintain a full and complete financial services file throughout the year
  • Deal with Companies - We deal with any queries from insurance, investment or pension companies throughout the year
  • Deal with Authorities - We deal with tax authorities when and where required throughout the year
  • Monitor Investments - We monitor changes in investment markets throughout the year and notify you if we believe action is needed
  • Monitor Law and Tax - We monitor changes in law and taxation throughout the year and notify you if we believe action is needed
  • Review - We review your investments made on our advice every 3 months
  • Advice - We give ongoing advice and make changes to funds in your portfolio where needed every 3 months
  • Telephone - We offer you unlimited telephone contact - you can telephone us at any time with no extra cost without worrying about huge additional charges
  • Report - We give you a written report on your portfolio and the markets explaining all those statements in plain English, removing all the jargon so that you understand what you have at intervals to suit you 
  • Valuation - We give you a full written report including valuation of transactions made on our advice and an overview of the performance and investment returns at intervals to suit you
  • Meetings - We have meetings with you face to face or a remote consultation to discuss ongoing changes at intervals to suit you

* Full or Partial Encashment/Withdrawals: the quarterly Platinum Service also includes:

  • Investment Withdrawals:  1 X transaction for full or partial encashment per investment per year to include chargeable gains calculations for tax liabilities payable (if any) supplied by the investment provider.
  • Flexible Drawdown Pension Withdrawals:  1 X Ad Hoc withdrawal per flexible drawdown scheme per year and help with dealing with HMRC to reclaim any over paid taxes that were withheld (if any).
  • Platinum service does not include unlimited, quarterly or additional full, partial, or ad hoc withdrawals or encashments for flexible drawdown or investments.

Additional full, partial, or ad hoc withdrawals or encashments are chargeable given the calculations, implementation actions, unit statement and document checking involved.  You can make additional withdrawals/encashments direct with the policy provider at no charge from us.

Who should consider Platinum Service?

  • Any person, family or organisation who has total pension funds and investments, excluding their main residential home, worth more than £100,000 (it can be lower if you wish)
  • Any person who has a total income in excess of £50,000 should consider Platinum service
  • Any person, family or organisation who has more complex financial planning needs such as complex taxation matters, owns a number of properties, has trusts or has International needs, should consider Platinum service.

Platinum ‘Money MOT’ Service Fees:  

Fees are based upon the number of policies/plans/funds that we review.  We believe you should control and have the choice of how all advice including any future money ‘MOT’ advice service be delivered to you and at what cost.  As well as selecting whether you prefer Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum service we also give you additional pricing options to get the best value service for your money.  There are four pricing options, allowing you to save up to 25%.

After any initial advice/review has been completed, an ongoing advice service may be suitable.  Gold is ideal for those who require a tailored approach to their independent financial advice with annual reviews.

Gold Review Service is our most popular service of all.  Gold Service means that we will review the investments made on our advice at intervals of twelve months on a date agreed with you.

  • Up to 4 X drip feed switches over 4 quarters if you prefer to spread the switches over a year (this does not include reversing these switches back later in the same service year).

Additional switches into or out of funds are chargeable given the calculations, implementation actions, unit statement and document checking involved.  You can make additional fund switches outside the Gold Service direct with the policy provider at no charge from us.

  • You like the idea of having highly qualified Chartered Financial Planner/IFA personal guidance sessions to make sure you're not missing anything

  • Weekly email news and updates

  • 2 X Telephone Consultations per year, each 30 mins duration with an award winning Chartered Financial Planner and IFAWorth between £120 and £240 based upon hourly rates.

MID-TERM 'ADDITIONAL' FUNDS REVIEW

This service is for existing Gold and Platinum Money MOT Service clients only that want an additional 'mid-term' review before their next main quarterly or yearly review is due.

Economies, politics and markets can change significantly in days.  We only have to look at Brexit or in 2020, the coronavirus to understand how the World and markets change very quickly.  This affect market exposure for our investments in a matter of days and weeks with extreme volatility.

What Should I Do?  If you wish to switch or have a mid-term review of funds invested in:

  • For Gold and Platinum clients who do not want mid-term advice, we will action your specific switch instructions at no charge - simply email us with your specific instructions and we will action them.
  • For Platinum clients it may make sense to wait until your next quarterly review and we will discuss and then recommend/action any fund switches.  This may not be feasible for a Gold client if you have a few months before your next yearly review is due.
  • For Gold and Platinum clients who do not want to wait until the next review and still want mid-term advice on which funds to switch to/from, there is a charge per policy (in a similar way to Gold and Platinum service fees).

'AD HOC' PRODUCT ADMINISTRATION WHEN NOT USING MONEY MOT SERVICES

This service is for clients that are NOT using our ongoing, regular Gold or Platinum Money MOT Services and just want ad-hoc administration works on regulated pensions and investment schemes.

This service is for clients that do not want a regular servicing arrangement but may need ad-hoc and irregular administration for their regulated pensions and investments.  For example, needing to make withdrawals or the movement of money or funds either internally or externally.

This is a NON-ADVISED Service

  • There is no regulated financial advice required or given.
  • There is no review of the suitability, affordability, tax or legal implications of your instructions.
  • There will be no regulated advisory recommendations included.
  • This service is purely administration based upon your explicit instructions.

What is included?

  • Processing your specific fund switch instructions.
  • Movement of money between accounts inside the product.
  • Making pension bank/fixed rate account applications.
  • Setting up, changing and administering pension drawdown or investment withdrawals.
  • Bed & ISA transfers for General Investment Accounts (GIA) and Individual Savings Accounts (ISAs).
  • Meetings - We will have a meeting with you face to face or a remote consultation to discuss ongoing changes (depending upon fee option selected).
  • Deal with Companies - We deal with any queries from insurance, investment or pension companies regarding any fund switches/changes.
  • This service covers up to 4 sets of administration instructions/transactions per policy/plan per year.  E.g., You may instruct us to make 2 sets of fund switches during the year and 2 sets of fund withdrawals or ad-hoc pension income or lump sum payments during the year on the same policy.

Ad-Hoc Administration Service Fees:  

Our fees are based upon the number of policies/plans/funds that you want us to administer.  We believe you should control and have the choice of how all policy administration services be delivered to you and at what cost.  There are four pricing options, allowing you to save up to 25%.
