NEST - National Employment Savings Trust

New compulsory pension accounts due to start in 2012 are to be branded and marketed as a pension “NEST” a ‘National Employment Savings Trust’.
Compulsory contributions to a pensions saving scheme will start soon where both employees and employees will be forced to contribute to a pension scheme in addition to simple National Insurance Contributions for the State Pension and the State Second Pension.
The announcement made yesterday confirms that the official name will be a NEST. Quite catchy we think.
