Is Your Employer A Liability?

Published / Last Updated on 09/01/2003

The Office of Fair Trading is said to be looking into allegations that over 200,000 businesses operate in the UK without having Employer Liability Insurance in place.  This insurance covers employees in the work place and is required by law.  Research conducted by AXA brought the figures to light and the OFT is now looking to conduct an investigation.  The Department for Work and Pensions are also said to be conducting similar investigations.
