Welcome Changes _ Consumer Credit

Published / Last Updated on 22/09/2002

Ms Johnson has proposed to amend the rule which currently allows hefty penalties to be charged when a person pays a loan off early.

If the proposals go through, consumers should be allowed to repay their loans without being penalised.
