Yet another survey has been done, this time by Royal Liver Assurance, looking into people's attitudes for saving towards retirement.
As mentioned in previous stories, 91% of people surveyed knew that the State pension would not allow them to live comfortably in retirement. However, the shocking news was that over 50% of people were not overly concerned about it!
The survey also revealed that 35% of people are not paying into their own pensions. 72% thought there was too much jargon to understand and 42% said there was not enough personal contact to allow jargon and terms to be understood.
