The Government has set up “The Independent Commission on Equitable Life Payments”
One of the first tasks by the commission is establish how the compensation of £1.5bn offered by the Government can be allocated to pensioners who have lost out.
There are an estimated 1.1m potential individual and company claimants and clearly all will wish to be at the front of the compensation queue.
The Commission is looking for consensus as to perhaps have suffered the most.
