A recent survey carried out amongst small business owners in the UK by Abbey National Business came up with the results that young people don't want to work hard, want a "glam" job and want too much money. Sixty four percent of the small business owners surveyed said that by choice they would employ older people, rather than younger. They believed that older people could be relied upon and actually worked harder.
Is this ageism in reverse or tunnel vision?
