"Tax Savvy Day" or better known by its real official name, Tax Freedom Day, is the floating day calculated each year where people actually start earning money for themselves.
By that what IFA Promotions, the lobbying body for Independent Financial Advisers, means is this is the day that you have earned and paid your taxes and the rest is your own.
On top of this they are also urging people to yet again consider the consequences of the UK public paying an additional £4bn a year in taxes that they do not have to.
