As many people now know, following the Government review of pensions, the new rules are set to be simplified from April 2004 - known as A Day.
As the changes to pensions are vast, many pension providers have called for them to be delayed until 2006 to allow their systems to be amended correctly. No comment has yet been made but to implement all of the new rules that are still being consulted on by April next year seems a tall order. However, simplification of the rules cannot come too soon.
