CIS Increases Penalties

Market Value Reduction penalties increases have been made by CIS of up to 25%, blaming the continuing weakness in the markets.

The rises took effect from 30 July 2002 and range from 6% up to 25%. CIS confirms that policyholders will get at least the underlying value of their assets.
