Budget 2013 Employment Allowance

A bonus for employers.

With effect 01 April 2014

Every employer will be receive an allowance of £2,000 for employers national insurance contributions.

What does that mean?

  • It means employers will face a cut in employers taxes.
  • It means employers can afford to employ basically another £22,000 in salaries without getting penalised by also having to pay employers national insurance on it.

How?

  • You may recruit 1 additional person on £22,000
  • Your may recruit 4 additional  part timers ech on £5,400
  • and your employers national insurance liability will not increase.

Fantastic news to encourage employers to take on more people.

up to 450,000 small businesses will now pay no national insurance.
