You Want More Advice!

Published / Last Updated on 20/11/2002

As the number of very wealthy clients grows, more is being asked of their advisers, according to Datamonitor's UK Wealth Management Survey 2002.

As we reported some time ago, there were only 1500 very 'wealthy' individuals in 1997 but this number increased to 3300 in 2001.

In these times of turbulent stock markets, many people are looking towards alternative types of investments, including specialist services.  However, more complex is not necessarily better.

More specialised investments tend to carry much higher management charges and don't always outperform the standard types of investments. Even if slightly higher returns are received, it could be completely wiped out with the effect of charges.

Our advice is to search the market, either on your own or with our help as an Independent Financial Adviser.  Make sure you are getting the right deal for you and that you understand any risks involved.

Just because you have more money to invest, does not necessarily mean you need more complex investments.

There are many ways that we can help you.  Visit the Help Zone now to choose an advice route to suit you.
