Budget 2013 Equitable Life
The government has confirmed that it will give further help to hard pushed pensioners who lost out with the Equitable Life guaranteed annuity collapse.
- For those with with profits annuities before 1992
- Ex-gratia payments of £5,000 to those elderly policyholders
- Additional £5,000 available to pensioners on lowest incomes and are on pension credit
