'DIRECT PAYMENT' is the default fee route but a 'PAID FROM POLICY' option may be available if not 'disabled/faded out' for some services. You still need to 'check' the box to confirm your choice even if 'DIRECT PAYMENT' is the only option available to calculate/compare fee options. DIRECT PAYMENT (Upfront, On Completion or Instalments): If selected, adviser fees are paid directly by you with no adviser fees taken from regulated investment/pension funds meaning lower overall plan charges or better insurance/annuity rates.

PAID FROM POLICY (On Completion or Instalments): If selected, adviser fees to be paid on completion or by instalment are taken from regulated investment/pension funds (if provider allows) with any fees paid upfront to secure a discount then refunded.
