A league table, showing the top ten mortgage lenders in the United Kingdom, compiled by the Council of Mortgage Lenders has caused some ill feeling within the market.
Some mortgage lenders are upset that they have not been included in the top ten and have made claims that the table is distorted. A spokesperson for the Council of Mortgage Lenders has defended this by claiming that the report is complied by the data that they receive and it is not a definitive list.
