ISAs Women Miss Out

ISAs Women Miss Out

According to research from the Co-operative Bank, out of 3,000 UK adults surveyed, 66 per cent of females would not be investing in an ISA before the end of the tax year.  The survey also revealed that two thirds of women had no ISA.

The women’s results contrasted starkly to the men’s as almost half of men said they possessed an ISA.

Our view

Financial planning for women including ISAs and pension is essential as they tend to retire earlier, live longer and not have worked on pensionable employment for as long.
