Employee Benefit: Pension Top Benefit
According to a survey by the National Association of Pension Funds, a workplace pension is the most important company benefit that an employer can offer.
Three-quarters of employees believe it is important to have a pension that comes with the job. Almost half of employees say they would feel greater loyalty to their company if it offered a workplace pension.
Our view
This is a clear message that providing a pension is rewarded by increased employee loyalty although we suggest it is not always the case.
