University Fees Early Planning.

Research by ING Direct has shown that parents are saving more for their children’s education, now that the University Fees are set to rise from September 2012.  Around 23 per cent of parents surveyed were saving more or setting up university accounts.

According to financial website, Moneyfacts, parents who would like to pay three years of tuition fees at £9,000 would need to save £93 a month from birth in a tax-free cash ISA.  If they haven't even started saving yet and the child has reached 10 years of age, they would need to set aside £249 a month from now on.
