Unisex Life Insurance Rates.

If the European Court of Justice (ECJ) rules that gender-based pricing is illegal, protection and health insurance are among the product areas most likely to be affected, according to the FSA.  

The deadline is 1 March 2011 and the FSA has warned that intermediaries, advisers and consumers will be affected, if such a ruling is made.  In the FSA’s recent Life Insurance Newsletter, it noted that critical illness, term life, private medical insurance, annuities and motor cover, were most likely to be affected.
