According to the Eurest Lunch Break Survey this year, employee lunch breaks have reduced another 9 minutes, taking the average break to 27 minutes per day.
The recruitment agency, Office Angels undertook a similar survey and found that 1 in 5 takes no lunch break at all.
The Trades Union Congress commented recently that employees not taking breaks "are positively bad for business"
