Records Property Rents.
A new record high for rent property prices in July has been announced today. A letting agent has reported that the average price of renting has rocketed to £725 meaning a rise by 1% last month and a 2.9% increase on last years average prices.
This is down the lack of people that are able to afford mortgages in the current economy status. The government figures that were released Thursday showed that only just over 21,000 new houses were started by builders. This is a 24% drop compared to last year and a 10% drop compared to the first 3 months of this year.
