RBS PPI Bill Unknown Billions.
According to an announcement from RBS, they could not reliably estimate the total liabilities for PPI sales. RBS are continuing to settle claims where it believes the customers have not been treated fairly.
This follows a court case led by the BBA, which has not yet given a decision on appeal and according to RBS, uncertainties regarding the outcome of the PPI action means they cannot reliably estimate any potential financial liability.
