Norwich Union Bonus For With Profits

Norwich Union has given the ‘with profits’ range an increase in final bonuses following a strong return on property and equities over 2006. The bonus has increased from 2per cent to 11per cent on bonds invested in 2005.

Norwich Union have also reduced the market value reductions. Norwich Union are hoping to remove the market value reduction as soon as the stock market allows.

Our view

Fair play to Norwich Union. We have seen market investment returns improve close to where they were four years ago and have now stabilised bonus rates.
