New Year Resolutions: Finance failed

New Year resolutions on finance have failed abysmally according to research by independent financial adviser lobby group IFA Promotion.

Research has revealed that while 18 per cent of financial-themed New Year’s resolutions have already fallen by the wayside, only 27 per cent of the British adults surveyed took professional advise to keep such resolutions.

The research also shows that consumers continue to value independent financial advice as more people go to an Independent Financial Adviser than a bank adviser to get advise on how to get their finances in order.

Our view

People never plan to fail but people fail to plan.  This is what happens with our New Year resolutions on finance.
