A report my JPMF has found that 28% of investors would invest overseas if they knew more about the markets. Many said they do not know enough about the countries and sectors to make an informed decision.
Our view
It is perhaps also the fault of the Investment house, Insurer and financial adviser who also do not know enough about investing overeas.
is currently expanding into the Offshore market and has been really suprised by the the lack of understanding of both UK and "Euro" insurers. Perhaps that is a good thing for us. Most investors will need professional guidance before taking the plunge overseas or indeed offshore.
