Markets Stable After Spain Jitters.

UK, Europe and Asian markets recovered slightly today after markets headed south on Tuesday amid low US job figures and concerns over Spain and its ability to reduce debts.

By tea-time today (UK BST), FTSE was up 0.7%, US markets up 0.77% and Asia fell away after earlier on Tsunami warnings in Indonesia.

In Europe, the cost for Spain to borrow has risen to over 6%, following the Spanish Government's announcements on Monday to cut public spending by €11bn, with no real recovery plan in sight.
