The Landlord Development programme, which has been launched by The National Landlords Association is a structured learning tool offering landlords the opportunity to complete online modules and then review and test their knowledge with a short quiz.
Competence in each module is recorded as part of a landlord’s continuing professional development. There are also a large number of websites providing information on regulation and legislation and access to information on all aspects of letting residential property.
Our view
This will provides an invaluable resource for the small buy-to-let investor and the large portfolio landlord alike and will help raise standards in rented accommodation.
They can benefit from having a documented landlord development training record which could authenticate their competence in the sector.
