Interest Rates Frozen Again.

The Bank of England Monetary Policy Committee has again today voted to hold interest rates at 0.5 per cent and has also decided to keep quantitative easing at £200bn.

This means that interest rates have been frozen at 0.5% for the 28th month in a row with the last rate change on 5th March 2009 when it rates were reduced from 1 per cent to 0.5 per cent.
