Inflation To Stay Higher.
According to the Bank of England, inflation is likely to stay above the Government’s target of 2% for at least another 12 months. Inflation in June stood at 4.2%, after dropping from 4.5% in May.
Inflation is likely to rise in the next few months before falling back in 2012 and 2013 according to a recent report by the Monetary Policy Committee. It also states that there is a good chance that it will reach 5% later in the year.
