Euro Shares Down On France AAA Worries.

As fears continue to grow over the eurozone debt and Europe’s banks, leading European share indexes have dropped.  French banking shares had been amongst the highest gainers, but by lunchtime the bank’s shares were down 5%.  

There were rumours that France was about to lose its AAA credit rating and that Societe Generale was in line for a bailout by the government.
