
House Price Growth Beginning to Slow.
The Land Registry has said that seven out of ten regions in England and Wales saw a fall in month-on-month house prices in June. Overall prices remained unchanged in June.
Property prices are still 6.4% higher than the same point last year, a number of surveys are now making annual comparisons with the previous year when the housing market was at its main point of recovery.
The latest figures show the West Midlands had the largest month-on-month in June up 1.9%, while the largest fall was seen in Yorkshire and the Humber falling 1.3%.
Year-on-year London had the best rise which rose to 16.4%, while the North East of England had the slowest annual rise of 0.8%.
The average house price in England and Wales is now at £172,011. In April 2014 repossession numbers decreased by 30%, failing to 898 compared with the 1,285 last year.
