First Time Buyers Not Moving

Recent research conducted by Financial Times Business has found that more than one third of advisers believe that first time buyers expect to stay in their first property for five years or more.  

Our view

We suggest many first time buyers are taking a considered view when looking at selling up.  Interest rates have gone up and we suggest the combination of this together with a nervous, overpriced property market will stop first time buyers moving up.
