Concerns About High Risks On Child Trusts

At a recent Treasury Select Committee, concerns have been raised over the new Child Trust Fund (a savings gift from the Government to every newborn child with additional amounts in later years) and the fact that the Treasury seemed to be encouraging stockmarket investment of the Child Trust Fund monies without advice.

Our view

As with any investment if you take no advice and invest in the stockmarket or indeed any other market, if it all goes wrong - you only have yourself to blame.  Take advice!
