
Business Confidence High.
A report from Lloyds Banking Group shows that business confidence is at a 20 year high. The report from Lloyds is a twice yearly report into UK business and the data from business backs predictions for stronger orders, sales and profits for the next six months.
The economy is continuing to improve and business confidence is at its highest point since 2007. Due to this confidence boost and predictions for profits businesses are showing their intent to grow and boost staff numbers helping employment. Over a quarter of the businesses in the survey were planning on increasing staff numbers in the 1st half of the year.
Overseas trade is also expected to rise with export predictions for the next six months rising by 25 points. Of the businesses polled only 1 in 20 expected their exports to decline, this is good when over half is expecting theirs to rise.
