Budget 2008: Tax Relief Rise Enterprise Investment Schemes EIS
Chancellor Alistair Darling has raised the tax relief on enterprise investment scheme (EIS) from £400,000 to £500,000.
This is a hollow move as we suggest very few people will be able to take advantage of the increased limits.
How many people do you know that can aford to simple investment £500,000 in a speculative enterprise fund? Not many we suggest.
