After two years of pressure from various angles, the Institute Of Actuaries is accusing four former Equitable Life chief executives of misconduct. A disciplinary tribunal will be set up to discuss a total of 12 accusations of misconduct.
Chris Headdon and Roy Ranson each face four charges of misconduct. Barry Sherlock and Alan Nash each face two. If the tribunal finds against the former chief executives, they could be fined or disciplined. They could also face being expelled from the Institute.
