Strong UK Manufacturing Growth.

February saw a strong month for UK manufacturing when output grew by 1%. The Office for National Statistics (ONS) has said the rise is being driven by strong a rise in pharmaceuticals, food, beverages, tobacco and more.

Compared with 2013, February’s output was 3.8% higher.

Even industrial output improved, climbing 0.9%. This was good news after January saw extreme UK weather which halted gas output and North Sea oil. This also came after news that UK Coal are in talks with a possible investor to avoid a bailout.

Compared with 2013, industrial output was up 2.7%.

the data seen over the last couple of months is usually considered as an accurate indication of recent trends.
