Shares on Six Month High
Shares in London closed last night on a six month high.
The Dow Jones, in the US, closed at over 9,000 driving FTSE 100 to a six month high of 4,559.80.
US results also sparked confidence in Europe with both the French CAC and the German DAX also rising strongly.
These highs were driven by better than expected US corporate results, with Ford posting hugely improved quarterly results as well as more positive growth in the property market, with activity rising by more than 3%.
