Scottish Widows Increases Bonus Rates

Scottish Widows has reduced market value adjustments, and increased bonus rates for most of its with profits policyholders.  The provider increased regular bonuses for around 750,000 of its customers, the majority of final bonuses were also increased and the market value adjustments were lowered. 

The changes mean that the biggest market value adjustment for Scottish Widows policies is now 5%, compared to 20% a year ago.

Another provider starting to do positive things off the back of stronger investment returns.
