Same Sex Couples Need To Plan

Published / Last Updated on 15/09/2005

The gay community are being urged to plan for their financial future, ahead of the Civil Partnership Act.

When the Civil Partnership Act comes into law on the 5th December this year, same-sex couples will be given legal recognition of their relationship.  This, in turn, will give them access to a range of rights, which will help them plan for their future together, as well as other rights, which at present, only apply to married couples.

Clerical Medical has provided guidelines for couples entering into a civil partnership,  as well as a fact file detailing the complexities of the Civil Partnerships Act.   Contact us for more
