Rents Up As Landlords Sell

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors has suggested that rents are rising as landlords are selling off parts or all of their property portfolio.

The property mortgage market appears to be selling and as a result landlords are selling amid fears of inflation and therefore, higher interest rates in a few years time.

Using simple, supply and demand economics, this means that house prices will fall and rents will rise.
