New Child Support Agency Assessment Rules

Much has been written about the role of the CSA.  In its infancy it had problems with inflexible rules that they were required to enforce.  The Child Support Act which deals with the CSA has been amended from time to time over the last few years. 

On 3 March new assessment rules came into force that again should make the system of calculating child support payable by the 'non resident parent' (NRP) fairer on both the 'resident parent' i.e.  the parent with whom the children live and the parent living elsewhere.
