Following our story on 30 July regarding MPs voting to increase their pension benefits, a recent survey has revealed that 94% of respondents were bothered with the increase. 26% felt that the extra money should have been used to increase the State pension.

Only 3% of the respondents to the survey felt that the MPs deserved the raise.
