Mortgage Approvals Drop

According to the Bank of England, in October, there were 47,185 mortgage approvals, which was 17% lower than in October last year.

This is now the sixth month in a row that approvals for house buyers has fallen, suggesting that house sales will be stuck in a rut in the coming months.
