Million Pound Property Demand

The Land Registry has confirmed that demand for properties at the top of the housing market has increased in 105 counties throughout the UK.

Our view

House price growth has pushed more properties into the million-pound bracket. There are also a large number of remortgages that increase the figures further.

Even though interest rates have risen, they are less likely to affect those people purchasing top end houses because of existing wealth and possibly no need for mortgages.
