According to the Government, house prices in London have risen by 7.9per cent in the summer and on average, continue to be the most expensive.
The lowest average house price was the north east. Comparing year on year, house prices in Northern Ireland are growing at the fastest rate.
Our view
This is partly why we say an interest rate rise last week. With Christmas spending expected to be high, expect another rate rise in February.
