With effect 1 September Liverpool Victoria has offered both new and existing critical illness policyholders access to Red Arc’s care advice services.
The advice service will be available to claimants who succeed in having their claim paid out and will be free of charge.
The main benefit is that a personal nurse will be assigned to the claimant to help them and their family cope with the illness.

Critical illness policies are gaining in popularity again because people are becoming more aware of how vital this cover is.
People suffering a critical illness need all the help they can get in terms of understanding and dealing with their condition.
We believe this addition to Liverpool Victoria’s plan will tip the balance towards them being recommended by advisers, as opposed to another company.
Even though these care services will not be available from the outset of the claim, anything that gives claimants qualified people to talk to is excellent.
