Interest Rates Up 0.25% to 5.25%

 The Bank of England policy committee has met earlier today and raised interest rates again by another 0.25%.

This means that base rates are now at 5.25% pa increasing pressure on the property market.

Our view

An interest rate rise was expected by us next month and not this. It is a surprise to us and we assume it is a surprise to many experts.
